K-12 Education Activities
We regularly engage with our Akron Public School partners with sustainable polymer teaching activities. We use the University of Minnesota’s 4H Polymer Lesson Plans that contain a range of activities and lesson plans for educators and volunteers. Visit them to download for yourself, free!
Engineers for a Sustainable World
We advise and collaborate with UA’s Engineers for a Sustainable World who work to locally educate and engineer sustainable solutions. Check out Zipps Precious Plastics (ZPP), an undergraduate led organization that is a branch of the Precious Plastics movement. They design, build, and operate recycling equipment that shreds, extrudes, and molds plastic collected around campus.
